Yesterday had the makings of a great day on water as the temperatures here got up into the 80’s. Well we sure could not let that slip by, but the wind had been blowing hard all day from the south so that pushed the water in, so we had to wait for the tide to drop low enough to clear the bridge. By 4:00 PM it was close enough to take a shot, so out we went for dinner at the point. All the hard work in February pays off this time of year with an early April dinner cruise.

We are not the only ones out.

Got some heavy weather moving in from the west, but we have plenty of time!

It was windy out there last night John, I had to drop anchor as we were drifting too fast. Tight squeeze on the bridge too, but an inch is as good as a mile when you clear!

Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the boat..

I missed going out over the weekend (though weather was not an issue), and had to get out yesterday morning early to see how the diver did with cleaning the bottom and the running gear.. Takes about an hour and 20 minutes to get to the ocean, so it was about 10am when I got thru the cut and I've never been out there when it's been that calm..It was literally like a mirror...amazing...

What radio do I see in your photo? The original Raymarine 215 that came with mine just died so I need a new one..

Thanks

Good for you!

Thanks for sharing!

It is a Northstar, NS100 is the model number I beleive. The radio itself is not bad, but the service and support suck big time.
