Sea Ray Homecoming Cruiser/Sport Boat Expo !! Here we go!

I was thinking about going up with the Vol Navy, now I think I may go up a couple days earlier to do both events and make a great weekend out of it. Will let you know as soon as my plans are solid.
 
I will come with 2 people. My boat will actually be downtown at the time ready for the football game on Saturday.

Sure thing. I will be there for the entire season starting after booms day.
 
Btw if anyone wants to stay for the TN FLA game I usually have the opportunity to purchase several tickets for the game. If anyone wants to go to the game let me know and I will put out feelers and connect you with a seller. I make no promises. Tickets are sometimes fickle to find but TN has not exactly been a top ten team recently so tickets are easier to come by. I also usually do not get of lot of ticket sale offers until closer to game time say a few weeks before. Usually I can find someone selling for cover price.

Will this be an opportunity to bring our 290DA back home, or would that probably not be best? We've been all the way up to downtown K-town in the baot, but no further. Please let me know. I am near making it official, but have to ensure I won't have to be making the electricity at the workplace. Thanks!

Sorry for the delays in responses, was in Miami all day on a 520 Sedan Bride and that was right after getting home last night from hanging out with the Liberty Landing group, all good stuff!

Matthew, I know we can probably accommodate you tying up to the factory dock for the day but as you can imagine, there are no facilities or electricity for that dock to be used after hours. You and I can talk closer to the date so I can provide more detailed information. The plant dock is long but remember we will have just about the entire cruiser product line in the water for our demo’s. I want to make sure just how much tying up we can do. You’re first to ask I believe. Can you tell me how many in your group will be coming so I can make sure you get all the latest updates.

Dave and John, I will log you guys in with three per group, thanks! Please talk others into coming.

I'm going, put in for the Time off. Looks like it will just be myself for the moment. Will provide some hotel details later, hopefully I can join some of you for the Pre-dinner thursday night. Won't be bringing the BBY:smt009

Go ahead and put me down for two, the admiral (Brandy) and I. Later on, we may add the kiddos, but we are trying to plan a day with the adults. We went to an open house before and all the dock space was taken with the new models - that's why I was asking about bringing ours up. We can just drive if necessary, but I thought it would be a nice cruise for us. If now (or at a later time), you realize it is not a good idea or there would not be enough space, just let me know. No worries!

Also, there's no issues about facilities. We made sure we got a boat with a gennie. The dead of summer when there is no wind would be too brutal without it.

Any thoughts on about when we can see a more detailed schedule (times)? I'm just trying to figure out when we'd need to leave to head up river.

I understand that the new 370 Venture outboard powered cruiser will DEFINITELY be at the Knoxville Homecoming/Cruiser Expo along with the first production boat off the line.

Come to Knoxville in September (9/14) and see a completely novel approach to mid-sized cruisers.
 
Do you guys think rooms are still available? ...Or a space to tie off the 270? ... is a nice 85 Monaco of interest to anyone?

Go to hotels .com or any of those other travel sites and play around. We're at the Red Roof Inn east side near everybody else for little money.
 
We have followed this post with great interest and really wish we could make it :smt089. Our first grand-child is due around the 14th so we dare not leave town then. Perhaps next year.....do hope you all have a great time, we're sure you will.

Have to record that we think SeaRay is a really stand-up company to organize such an event for their customers:) Don't know that we will ever move up from our 340 which is plenty big enough for us .....but that said, it's great to look:) We generally make a point of attending Tampa and Miami shows and working out how we'll spend our lottery winnings :grin:! Thanks to Rusty, Frank et al for all their organization!!! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!
