Sea Ray Homecoming Cruiser/Sport Boat Expo !! Here we go!

You all know I'll help any way I can. Sure am glad the company is letting you do this Rusty. Just another reason Sea Ray is such a great company.

Me too Chuck and yes it is, that's exactly why everyone should come to this event. You may never have closer access to those who built your boat, those who Sales and Marketed your boat and those that keep us on the leading edge of a World Class Boats; that are sought after all around the globe.

We want you to come visit us!

Rusty

Going to be good to put a face with so many of you and the people at sea ray.

Thought on why you should attend? Lets hear your reasons?

1. Special Deal/Discounts on purchase.

2. Meet the people behind the boat.

3. In water sea trails.

4. Great food

5. I'm sure you will even get a Sea Ray hat......

6. ..........

Meet the real people behind the CSR screen names..................?

I'll also add that Sea Ray understands who CSR is and how many of us there are, but this is our chance to let the company know that we are real boaters who really use their products. It is thru vehicles like the Knoxville Homecoming/Expo and Yacht Expo that we develop a relationship with SR management, whether it be over barbecue, on the back of a boat, thru Sea Ray Owners Club, or on CSR, so showing up in Knoxville in September is going to be an important factor in fostering that relationship.........if there is any way you can.......then BE THERE!

I'd like to meet some of the CSR members and to see how the Sea Rays are built. :smt001

As I posted before I have met up with more BOC members than CSR members. :smt089

BOC members = 10

CSR members = 0 . :wow:

My experience will be mostly to meet other owners and club members.
I admit I am in no position to buy a new boat and probably won't be for a while
Maybe my presence will add a little diversity to the crowd and show SR that we love their OLD boats too
I have been on the tour recently but I am sure I missed something and will look forward
to the responses to others questions that I forgot to ask.
and a ride in a big cruiser wouldn't hurt my feelings

Heck now that some of the bayliners are made at the Knoxville plant you may even see one or two in productions (Grin)

I'd like to meet some of the CSR members and to see how the Sea Rays are built. :smt001

Finally figured out the flights! It's not easy to get there from here!

Turns out we fly Kelowna to Seattle. Then to Dallas then to Nashville. We'll drive to Knoxville and the hotel.

We're also going to stay in Nashville Saturday and Sunday. Any hotel recommendations would be welcome!

Urgent broadcast concerning hotel room availability for this event...

I was able to make reservations at the following hotel which is about 7 miles from the plant:

Hampton Inn Knoxville-East
7445 Sawyer Lane
Knoxville, Tennessee, 37924
TEL: 1-865-525-3511

They have about 50 room available right now, but, they expect to be sold out because of the college football game being held in the area on Saturday, September 15th, 2012.

The room rates are going to be in the $119-$159 per night range.

You are urged to:

Get up off your duff
Call the hotel NOW and reserve a room
Attend this FREE event that the kind folks at Sea Ray are willing to host

Show your support and commit now.

I'm staying at the above place... Mark... look forward to meeting you.

Cool Jason. We booked there too last week! We get there on Wed. night.

Looking forward to meeting you too!

We are at the Fairfield Inn-Knoxville East, Exit 398 off I-40, Hampton Inn is at the same exit.

For those of us staying in the "Knoxville - East" area is there any interest in getting together on Thursday evening for greet and meet / casual dinner? If there is, I'm sure that there are a few restaurants in the area. As we get closer to the date we can determine how many will be there. I will call and find a place that will be able to handle our group. Our hotel suggested Puleo's Grill http://puleosgrille.com/

If anyone has any local knowledge, please make suggestions.

Ill be there Thurs night... sounds great Casey. All though you may be tired of me after MBI!!!

We'd be up for a Thursday evening dinner. Just let us know where and when!
