Greetings...

My wife and I are searching to purchase a Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge (2003 or 2004). Closest proximity to Pacific Northwest would be preferred. If you have one or know of someone that may be willing to sell...please kindly notify us.

Thank you

Wayne

Wayne,
Don't limit your search to just the PNW or just the West Coast. I found my 550 in Michigan and had it trucked to Portland for commissioning and installation of several items of extra equipment.

After all was said and done and the boat shipped, I figure I saved more than enough to pay for all the additional equipment.

Great Lakes boats are all fresh water, have a short season, are launched around Memorial day and hauled out around Labor Day and often stored inside in heated sheds.

Might be worth your time to expand your search area.

whoa, whoa, whoa. Nice boats are in short supply here already, and you're recommending that more people poach them? Then you call the building where you found yours: with 36 indoor 70x18' heated wells full of glistening boats next to 3 car garages and WiFi, pumpout, and HDTV a shed... I see how it is...!

So Wayne, I have to admit that this boat-poaching premium boathouse-insulting PNW'er has a point. He also had a clever strategy: he hired the same crew to prepare the boat for shipping and then re-assemble at home. (I watched the loading process and took pics for him after he left) His timing was perfect, at the very bottom of the market, but even so - we still have nice boats here.

There's a CSR member in Michigan with a 480DB listed with MANs as I type this. I bet he's not thrilled at the idea of storing her for the winter. This is a good time of year to discuss a sale.

Why are you specifying only 03-04's? Is it only age, or are you trying to increase the likelihood of getting QSM's?

We live in Seattle and recently purchased a 520 sedan bridge, which we had trucked from Texas. I'm happy to share details of finding one (PM me if interested), but there are slim pickings in the northwest.

Those years best best suit our budget and yes, the QSM 11's are also desired

Hi people I’m live in Aussie and am thinking of buying a 48 sedan bridge with QSM 11s what do you guys think of the motors

Wow, never in my many years have I ever been so insulted in such a humorous way. Took me ten minutes to stop laughing before I could even sit here and type.

" boat-poaching premium boathouse-insulting PNW'er". Now THAT was funny. And correct.

Steve, not to insult Cummins, but I once had a diesel mechanic tell me "If it doesn't say CAT, it's catsh!t."
