I just purchased one of these machines. Do any other board members own one?

I had one for two years and never had a problem. It's a stable, fun boat. I could even sit on the back seat facing backwards and fish.

Glad you enjoyed it. It is very stable machine.

This is the first four stroke "ski" I have ever owned. It's extremely smooth and quiet. The SD dealer told me it would run a bit warmer than my old 2 strokes with raw water cooling as the 4TEC is a 4 stroke with a closed cooling system. After running it for a while, I popped off the seat just to look over thing and found that the dealer was right. Did yours seem run warm comparatively speaking?

I don't remember ever getting the feeling it was running hot. Most of the time I was all wet, anyway. Just for the record, I'd still have it, except that we decided to consolidate all our other toys into this new, bigger boat.

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to compare apples to oranges anyway. FYI, I am not getting an exhaust overheat or engine overheat alarm. According to the manual, if either system overheats you will also get a warning on the MFD and I believe the ECU will automatically reduce power. Now I'm off to fix the sprinkler system.
