Not what I would call a good weekend. Said he hit bottom, looks like the shaft snapped off in the splines.
Gonna be a long ride home.....at least the pod did its job and sheared off - and if you need to locate something on the bottom, the Bahamas is the place to do it.....
How much do the PODs weigh? Must have been tough getting it back onto the boat. Shallow water = easy retrieve...if you can stand! Lots of shallow water around the Bahamas.
