Saving money this year on fuel

Just thought I would start this thread to vent some frustration. I am actualy saving money this year on fuel. I will have to thank mother nature for this savings. Does it have to rain every @*%#@$* weekend :smt013. I have used my boat 3 times. It looks like tomorrow morning is my only hope for sunshine.

Hijack!!! I have burned more fuel this year than in the past. Lake Hartwell is lower than we would like so we have not been there this year instead we have gone to the coast. So far we have been to Beaufort and Hilton Head along with plans to go to Myrtle Beach shortly. We also are trying to plan some other adventures.

I'm just up the road and we have had fairly good weather on the weekends that I have been working (of course). The family and I usually get out after the admiral gets off of work around 4:30 pm for a few hours. Now, it looks like today is going to be the only nice day through the entire holiday weekend! :smt013
