Savannah is a great city  Maybe, I can talk the with into going and I can check out the show :smt017

Richard wasn't it where you got caught on that canbot last year  Have you traded your boat in on it yet

Mike and Wesley come on we will be glad to have you. We hope this show will be dry, it rained all day on Saturday when Richard, Charlie and myself attended, we got soaked trying to see the in water boats, did not see all due to weather. Maybe I can catch someone else in a canboat. I do still have the last photo.

Chuck and Wesley........if you tour the show with Richard, it is my understanding you will spend a lot of time looking at Canbotes. Just ask Nolan and Charlie.

Hey Dave you were moving last time and could not come down so we will look for you this time, Chuck come down out of them North Ga mountains to this South Ga flat land. We could have a real good group at the show then go a restaurant and have a nice meal afterwards.

I totally forgot that we are going to Savannah for St. Patricks Day and it is the weekend of March 17th. It would be too much to head back up there for the show (2) weeks after :smt089

Mike, do like I used too when I would go to Maitland on Saturdays every 6 weeks or so, leave home early and get back late. I get up at 4:30 to go to work normally so I would do the same on Sat, leave home at 5 AM, arrive about 8:30 spend the day and get back somewhere between 7 and 9 PM. Of course if you are coming for St Pats day you may not be over that yet in two weeks.
Seriously you could leave at 7 or so and get here around 11 do the show, eat and go home, yes I know it would make a long day but it could be good. :smt101

I'm going to have to keep that in mind. :smt017 Are you refering to Maitland, FL? What did you visit maitland so much for?

Mike I sent PM

Sounds goods to me, Even better if I can bring MS Judy down with me and check out the River  How far inland/up it can you go?

Chuck, I looked at the charts of the Savannah River that I have downloaded and by them you can go all the way to Augusta it the locks just South of Augusta are still in operation, in other words probably further than you would want on a weekend. There are several place around Savannah to put in.

Thanks for the info. I thought somebody said they had closed the locks did not know you could still go that far up  I'll have to do some more checking. It's starting to sound like an interesting trip
