We docked at the Sandusky Basin last weekend. Just blocks away from downtown , and all the festivities of Bike Week. I have to admit , I felt like a little guy :( ... sandusky basin.jpg Yup, that's "My48Off" at the right...Overall we had a great time, everyone was really nice ( as most boaters are ). Will definitely return again.

Only been there by car while boat shopping about 10 years ago ,it seems very nice and practical layout.

That may have been Battery Park Marina? The Sandusky Boat Basin is aka the Paper District Marina. It was empty land 3 years ago!

It's a great resource for the Sandusky Bay area. Top notch floating docks, a food counter, nice facilities, and walking distance to downtown.

We use it often to get to some great dining options, including Zinc and Crush (the owners of which also run the food counter at the marina), J. Bistro among others.

That marina has turned a corner in the right direction this year. The food is great there. It's a dingy run for us from Son Rise Marina in Sandusky Bay. Sandusky is a great city. They get what they are all about...... entertainment and they provide it well.

yea battery park soundsds right,we made a lot of weekend trips down there before buying on catawbwa island our 40 silverton.
