Sandard orizon Omni Marine Radio- Squelch issue???

Over the weekend my Standars Omni Hoirizon radio started acting up. It has noise like squelch is not properly adjusted, most of the time, no matter what I do with the squelch. It was like that all day yesterday and today it worked properly for about 20-30 minutes but went right back to hissing. Is there a resource that can repair these units? It still works to commnunicate -transmit and receive, but the hiss is a problem.

sounds like you got some moisture in the unit. not quite sure of repair places for these units but it might be just as expensive as buying a new one.

FIGURED THAT MIGHT BE THE CASE-REPAIR APPROACHING REPLACEMENT COST. WILL PROBABLY REPLACE, SINCE PROBABLY DON'T WANT TO RISK HAVING IT NOT WORK WHEN WE NEED IT. SURE APPRECIATE THE REPLY.
