I have salt deposits on the exterior of exhaust hoses and engine pulleys, front part of engine and underside of component on top of engine (Port Engine). Engine compartment floor has spray lines from water being deposited by spinning pulleys/serpentine belt. There is a noticeably louder hissing sound from the same engine (port) compared to the starboard engine.

Sorry for the same picture multiple times!! First post, just trying to figure this posting to a forum thing out. I also realized I didn't ask for peoples advise, knowledge, similar experiences with the issue I am having. So, please feel free to post and hopefully with your help, I can figure this issue out?!

OK, this should be pretty basic. "salt deposits with tracking".....Where can salt water come from? Why is it being flung around? Look at your pics.....Raw water pump bearings/seals getting ready to let go. I would clean everything really well. Wipe it all down and run the motor and use a flashlight to look closely at the pump. Also, not sure if you have a generator right there by the motor, but that could also be the salt water issue. Just think clearly and logically. The source will be clear soon.

Thanks for the suggestions!
