sad and excited at the same time...

bought the 340 from a member of the PYC....we looked at LNM but don't think the 340 would fit under the 150 bridge or the train trestle....we like that part of the lake also....not nearly as busy as the lower half....we live in lancaster so we can use Hwy 16 to get to the marina....much easier than using I77 on the east side of the lake....stop by some time...we are the third slip from the right in 'D' dock if you are looking at the dock from the water...

Definitely - I moved our boat up that way for a lot of the same reasons. You definitely cannot get under the RR Trestle, should be able to go under 150, I know I could in my 290 with plenty to spare. I'm winterized right now - boat is in dry storage. Still have friends at PYC but only went down that way once last summer. Tend to stay between Marker 8 and 150 bridge. The 185 is small (we kept it at our house on Lake Tillery until last summer) and I miss the 290 some, but run that little boat all over the lake on nothing for fuel. Will have to catch up in the spring.

I sold my first boat to a local guy and I ended up doing work for him several times. When he overheated it once (bag on outdrive intakes) he warped the head and he decided he wanted to sell the boat. I ended up buying it back :). I did repair to the motor and sold it to a friend. He too wanted to get out of boating after some issues and I ALMOST bought it back again.

I did really like that boat - 19' four winns bowrider.
