Hi, does any one if I can replace the dipstick tube with out removing the engine or sump on my 3.0lx (181 4/cyl) Sea Ray 175?
Rusted and broken Dipstick tube on a 3.0LX gas engine

Yes, it's press fit. You don't need tools unless it's so rusted that the tube rusted to the block. You might want to wire wheel, prime and paint that engine. A '97 shouldn't be that rusty.
