370dancer, I'd prefer to keep our boat at ditto but we'all be using her to explore new swimming holes for our 5yr old and there doesn't seem to be much of that near ditto, pretty much just straight river.

Thanks. Did he do a prepurchase survey with sea trial and bottom inspection or just engine survey?

No he is engine and gear only.
I use Brian Stetler on my 52DB for hull and systems http://www.amarinesurveyor.com/
They both are on board for the sea trials.

I originally thought about Goose Pond, then Alreds, and so on. There is a definite advantage of the G-ville lake, which is no current, and stable pool (no flooding). I do live just off Hobbs Island Road, 1 mile from the marina, so that was the overwhelming swing for Ditto for us. No kids (mine are adults), so it was our program for day runs and trips. Most summer boating from Ditto is up or down a mile, drop the hook and raft up, or make a run to somewhere (like Guntersville, or Hard Dock, or further). A popular camp out is just down from the lock, called "Sea Ray Beach" by the locals. Oddly enough, after we spent a couple of years here with the 370, now all of my former dock mates have managed to get similar vintage 310's to 360's, so it really is the namesake when they show up. Look up NABA (North Alabama Boaters Association). I used to be the Commodore. Good group of people.

Thanks K3d111, we didn't get that one but did get a 1992 400 express cruiser and love it! We're at goosepond now on dock 3.
