Had to change out the satellite receiver box (Dish) and the new ones do not have a coax "out" connection, and the "modulator" box the technician installed just adds to a rats nest of cables. So I'm thinking that maybe its time to just run HDMI cables from the receiver box to the TV's. Right now the receiver box is sitting on the shelf above the galley sink (portside) and the bulkhead TV is on the starboard side (this is an '06 340).
So, any ideas on a way to run the cables (short of taking the whole boat apart?). Snaking between the overhead and the deck? Going behind the galley cabinets, then under the v-berth and down the starboard side? Would prefer not to reinvent the wheel in case someone else has done anything similar?

I did coax from arch, to electrical cabinet, to hanging closet fwd of couch, across ceiling to the TV cabinet on port side. Was not fun but was doable.

Keep in mind. Cables 50' and less have no polarity. Over 50' there is a source and a destination side. Polarity will matter.
Different boat, but mine goes from the Vee Berth stateroom TV cabinet under the berth across to the Stbd side and through the bulkhead to the Salon TV cabinet. 25' did the trick.

Well, ya learn something everyday...did not know about the polarity, but giving this thing the once-over this afternoon, it looks like I will need about 35 feet of cable (maybe less)..Any recommendations on which brand of HDMI cable(s) to look for? A glance at Amazon shows them all over the place pricewise...
