Hello everyone...just noticed this thread- great idea! I am in Kanata, Ontario, a suburb of Ottawa. Our 280DA (first cruiser) is slipped an hour away in Portland, ON at Bayview Marina on the Big Rideau. Next season will be our first full season and with friends with cottages on Newboro, Indian, and Sand Lakes, we plan to be up and down the Rideau system between Smiths Falls and Kingston, and will eventually venture towards A-Bay and out to Lake Ontario. We have reserved our slip in Kingston for Canada Day!

Previously spent a lot of time in the 1000 Islands with friends out of Ed Huck in Rockport.

Hello.

Emma Lake SK.

The Sea Ray dealer in Prince Albert SK is new to Sea Ray and there should be a few more here in the future.

Someone bought the black and red boat shortly before I got the blue and black one......... If you are not too busy say hi.

FWIW..... been lurking around this site for a few weeks..... GREAT info and seems like great guys to share knowledge with.

Disclaimer... I usually only post after a couple of beer

Hello, proud new owner of a 1998 SR440 Express Bridge located in beautiful Georgian Bay, Ontario... BayPort in Midland. This is our second boat... A fairly major upgrade from our previous 9M Prowler Aft Cabin.

Cheers!

I forgot to post here. I'm also in Midland, was at Bayport since Aug. But think I'll move to Hindson next season. (Or dry stack)

Dont have Searay, I have a Sun Ray and I am from Canada does that count:smt038

Welcome but we just don't know anything about your boat.

Well that makes two of us  My boat is the last year it was manufactured in the Province of Quebec Canada. Some of the features resemble a Sea Ray and some resemble other boats. All in All though it is a great first power boat and I am learning a lot

Well there is lots of general info here too. Best of luck

Hello fellow Canadians.

Tell us about boating on Lake Winnipeg. Fuel availability, Sewage pump outs, wind, water temperature, is there a coast guard on the lake, rock in open areas, marinas, service for boats, places to anchor, how long is the season and and your general opinion of the lake.

Holy Old thread resurrection. We hope to meet more Canadians again this season as we head into BC's Gulf islands.

Hello fellow Canucks, just found this thread great idea, we are first time boat owners (never operated a boat before)and hopefully will get confident enough to boat up to Kingston this year and then to A. Bay next, lot to learn about boating, hopefully we will have better weather in July and August to practise, we retired last summer to Iroquois Ontario which is an hour and a bit South of Ottawa on the St. Lawrence River, we are originally from Orleans Ontario which is east of Ottawa.

We bought our boat on ebay from a dealer in Florida that is a whole different story :smt101
