When I bought my 12' AB RIB it was sitting on a cheapo trailer that enabled them to move it around the lot. I didn't think anything about taking it anywhere other than to the boat but the more I'm enjoying it I'm thinking that I'd like to take it a few places and need a much better trailer. I have been casually looking locally at used options but haven't happened upon a good option.
What are the recommended trailer brands that you are using?
If possible I'd like to get one wide enough that the tubes sit inside the fenders so I don't have debris slinging up to the tubes while underway.
Thanks for the input

No specific brands but I've seen a lot of RIBs for sale on jet ski trailers.

My RIB came with a Load Rite trailer. Seems pretty good for the purpose.

When I started looking around I was hoping to buy a cheap trailer to do about what you’re describing and all I kept finding was pure junk that wasn’t cheap. So I decided to go top of the line instead and have not regretted it. I was able to find a really nice used one on Facebook marketplace for a pretty good price.

Hell, if you were closer, I have one you could have. I rebuilt the thing with all new wiring and lights and replaced the bearings and seals just because. I used it to pick up a Sorenson 12' twin hull and sold the boat fast. I'm tired of it taking up space in the farm yard. Plus my Heeler puppy keeps forgetting it there and runs into it playing. I already have $8600 in surgery bills from her breaking her elbow socket.

So if your in the oregon area, you can come get it for free.

I went the other way. I bought a $350 Harbor Freight trailer for my 12' inflatable. I built bunks out of 2x4s. I have about a 30 min drive between my harbor and where I store it, some backroads, some interstate. Works fine for my purposes. The ability to build my own bunks was helpful be cause it allowed me to get the sizing right. The ability to fold and store the trailer when the dinghy is in the water is also helpful.

I keep looking atthe local market for "good" used, I'll keep looking.
There are tons of jet ski trailers and the like, just not exactly what I want at this point

The only problem I had with a jet ski trailer for my 11' Nautica was that the tubes would rest on the fenders. This was easily fixed by using Unistrut to elevate the rails. Works great.

Good tip right there
