I’ve got a SMARTCRAFT system which is coupled to RayMarine E120 on my 06 44 DB.
Occasionally I lose GPS data and need to reset the system to continue. The only way I know to do that is shut down the engines and restart. That seems ridiculous to me. Does anyone know of a way to reset while underway? My Smart Craft only runs when the engine switches are in the on position so the recording hour meter is running when ever I want to just dig around and collect data or customize screens. That too seems like an odd way to have it set up. I really just want the engine time recording when they are actually running like my aircraft do with an oil pressure switch.
Any enlightenment would be appreciated
