2010 Sea Ray 240 Sundancer - replacing Circulating Pump. Need to find a reputable parts dealer. Doing winter maintenance, just replaced the leaking sea water pump (which destroyed my alternator that I replaced yesterday), I might as well replace the circulating pump before it fails. Part number is 850399 1
Found one on Amazon for $144, vendor is Wholesale Marine. Good?

I have bought lots of parts from Wholesale Marine, never an issue. They are also a CSR sponsor. When I replaced my circulating pump I went with a Sierra, perfect fit, no issues. It's been close to 10hrs and 400hrs on the Sierra pump.

Went thru a similar situation this past season. Had to replace the port side seawater pump due to a bad seal, sprayed salt water all over the "front end" of both motors. Something to look into replacing as well that may not be self-evident is the idler pulleys. Two of mine were nearly seized due to corrosion (one on each engine) and the other two will be replaced shortly. I was at the point I would yank the belt before each run and turn each pulley by hand, then replacing the belt. Oh yeah, an replacement alternator was required as well....

yup - my idler pulley toasted a couple months ago. We should invent a spray shield over the sea water pump to protect the other components.

Wholesale Marine is reputable. I’ve bought lots of things from them over the last few years.
