Hello, plan to rebuild 2 3.0 1984 mercs. Both engines have 1500 hours and hope to have them pulled 14 days from today. The machine shop will bore the engines 30 over. Have not rebuilt an engine in about 30 years and never rebuilt a marine engine. Have been tempted to buy a rebuilt. Any suggestions or concerns with rebuilding myself?, want to save some money DIY to restore my 260 Express. Going from fresh water to Pensacola Salt water. Thanks to all in advance, Jim
