Vbulletin 4 was coded for newer browsers and has a compatibility setting. I've turned this off so now, can those of you that could not see the date.... can you see it now?

tdschafer, I will look into your problem with not having permission. Maybe you could check this part now and see if the compatibility issue I just fixed corrects that problem too.

After you get that message, click on forums at the top left hand side of the page. After the new page loads, save that page as your bookmark & delete your old clubsearay bookmark.

Not to be too picky but.....we used to see a number indicating how many private messages you had in your inbox. Will that be returning?

Re: Csr update issue

What browser and version are you using?

Hi Mark,
Still can't see the date and time of the posts. I use internet explorer, not sure of the version but, I am running windows xp. Does that help?
I also still get dissed when I sign on. I will try Scotts recommendation when I finish this message.

Update: Mark,
I followed Scotts advice and I don't seem to be getting that message anymore when I sign on!! Hooray!! "They Like Me, They really like me"

Scott,
Thank you!!

When the other boating site upgraded to this new version of vBulletin

A lot of people had to switch to Firefox browser to get it to work sometimes vBulletin doesn't like IE.

I'm running Firefox with no problems at all.. Wow this site is fast !!. :smt038

Just trying to help. :smt001

When you have new private messages, the notifications box at the top of the forum will indicate it, and how many you have. There isn't anything on the main forum that shows the TOTAL pms you have (and I wasn't aware the previous version did either). Only new unread PM's and other notifications show.

Because internet explorer is crap! I am however viewing the site through both Firefox and IE8 with no issues. If you are using IE, I suggest you upgrade to IE8.

And Google Chrome looks great is is even faster than Firefox here on CSR. Jim, I fixed the double issue with the little boat thing... you know what I mean...
