Report All Upgrade Issues Here

The issues in this thread will be addressed. Some problems or lack of function are due to specialty modifications that have not been ported over to this latest version of vBulletin (like those still seeing ads at club level... the mod that controlled that is not available so I have to find a alternative solution). The ie display issues... they will be fixed as well. As previously mentioned, report the issues here, they will be gathered and addressed together. Thanks to those too that have posted screenshots. That is a big help.

I know I read about this issue several pages ago, and over a week ago, but...in Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13 I can no longer see the time that the post was created by a user. Driving me crazy because I don't want to necessarily respond to an old thread, but I have no idea how old the last post might be!?!

Worked fine before of course. And I can't just upgrade...work computer.

OK....somebody is definitely F'in with me....I bet it's Wesley!!!!!......now I don't have ANY sig pic...it's gone....nada......what gives????

Before upgrading the site, after logging in for a few days of log off there was "since you last visit" tab under the "new posts" instead of "new posts-24 hours" and "new posts-48 hours".
It was a good function for visiting the site after longer than 2 days.
Could come back again?

How can it be that on my home PC I can see every post's date and not on my office PC??????

when searching in advanced search before upgrading the site there was "show the result as posts" and " show the results as thread". If I choose the "show the result as posts" then it goes directly to the post, now its only showing the thread and finding the exact words I'm searching is difficult to find.
Is it still there and I can't see it or it's forgotten when upgrading ?

I've read through most of this but haven't seen where anybody else has issues with their email regarding new posts to subscribed threads?

When I click on the link it goes to the very first post no matter which link I click and even though in the automatic email each link is different.

Its supposed to be a link for the first post and then links directly to posts since last visit.

CJ,

I had the same problem, just update your internet explorer to IE8 (or IE9).........easy fix.

John

Can you get Firefox or Google Chrome installed on the work pc, if so watch both because they will want to be the default browser, you can tell them both no on install, I know being at work you may not have the option to install new software, but if you do this will work fine. I understand your statement on the work computer and upgrade to ie8, where I am we could not upgrade to ie8 for a long time due to the oem's we deal with, they had not upgraded their software to be compatible with 8. Both Firefox and Chrome work well.

Still no sig pic this morning. I will go into the settings again.....and 're-install' the sig pic again.....and then see if it stays, doubles, triples.....again....

EDIT: I went into settings....edit signature picture....and....my sig pic is in there.....it's just not being displayed. Hello....anyone?

Not so easy - my work PC is "managed" i.e. I can't install software on it, or upgrade existing software.

Oddly enough, I have the same issue with my home laptop - and that is running IE8. Guess I'll put Chrome on, been meaning to do that.,,

The site should now be backward compatible and work with IE7. Those that were running IE7 and could not see the post date, time, etc (The yellow bar above post), could you please verify. I am using IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Chrome, and the site appears to be correct in all instances now.

I have attempted to get some help to delete attachments but so far there has been no response. Your help would be greatly appreciated since I was able to manage attachments prior to the upgrade.
Thank you.
