I am a brand new Sea Ray Sundeck 220 owner.... love the boat and have already had a few great weekends on the water! Yesterday I went to drain the water from the engine with the 3 point drain system. After I drained the water from the water distribution housing I went to screw the drain plug back in and must have over tightened it. This caused the threaded whole to crack and a piece broke off. :huh: My questions are.... Is this a common problem? Has anyone had to ever change out this part? If so how hard is this procedure? I guess now I know to only HAND TIGHTEN the drain plugs when putting them back in.
