I am wanting to replace my throttle control lever on my 76 Sea Ray. It is the original, and the button is sticking all of the time, very hard to manouver. Does anyone know what shift lever on the market is compatable?

Thanks

Teleflex comes to mind as probably the most readily available set-up, if you don't want a Merc set-up.

How are your cables? Maybe the problem with the lever is more about needing new cables? Maybe once you get the throttle/shift assembly apart you clean/fix the button?

If you do get a new throttle/shifter, and the cables are old, it would be a good idea to get new cables, too.

thanks for the info about teleflex. The cables look fairly new. Lever is really old

Yea Teleflex is the most popular for sure. I have currently looked for a new shifter and found them to have a lot of different models.
A tip though is to look around once you find the control you want because depending on were you buy it the price can change by $100 for the same shifter!
