1994 200 Overnighter, Single Axle Easy Load'r Galvanized Trailer, 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab
Engines
Single 1994 Mercury Black Max V135 O/B
I have a 1994 200OVOB HIN # SERV3370L394 and 1994 Mercury 135HP O/B serial # 0G016519 Model 1-135422P

The boat came with 1 ignition key, and the ignition kind of twists in the mounting hole when you turn it over. I'd like to replace the whole ignition assembly for a new one, mostly so I have a spare key, and the original is 24 years old so it can't hurt. I tried to have a spare made of my one key, but three attempts failed, I think the original is just to worn out.

One thing my Sea Ray does not have is a safety kill switch. My wife and kids know that in an overboard or emergency situation to try to get to helm and turn off ignition, but I'd really like to add the lanyard kill switch. Any idea if I need an "I" or "M" kill switch, or where to find wiring diagrams to add it to the circuit when I replace the ignition? The Sierra universal seems to have decent reviews, while the Sea Dog universal kill switch did not.
