Replacing CO Detector

Need to replace my Fireboy-Xintex Cmd-4Mr-Rly Detector w/ Relay Shut Down (CMD-4MR-RLY) which has been discontinued by Xintex. The replacement product is the CMD5-MDi-R which needs a separate relay for generator shutdown. Has anyone done this replacement on their boat? I am wondering where to install the relay. My boat is a 2011 350 Sundancer.

Since you already had a CO alarm with a generator shutdown function..... you might not need the additional relay.

I would give them a call to see if this is true.

I checked the wiring diagram for the Fireboy-Xintex Cmd-4Mr-Rly and it has a direct wiring for the generator shut down. This unit is now obsolete. The replacement detector needs a separate relay for the generator shutdown.

Did you solve this issue yet? I have this exact issue. I unplugged my EOL detector and now I can’t run the genset.
