My boat currently has a vertical capstan, and I want to upgrade to a Lewmar V700G vertical windlass. If anyone has done this, I could use some advise. Will I be able use the existing electrical wiring, if the gauge is correct, or will I need to replace it? Is there anything I should be considering that is not obvious? And if anyone has an opinion, what is the difficulty level? Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Rich.:huh:
