replacement wiper blades

I've got a 1992 Sundancer 270 and need new blades. Been to three auto parts stores and found the replacement blade is wider than an auto blade. Plus the clip is not a standard auto replacement. Any ideas? I'll check out the truck replacement idea.

Take one off, go to a trucking supply store, tell them you want a blade for a Ford L series truck. About $9 each.

Went to a trucking supply store and a direct match with Anco 52-16. The regular auto parts stores DO NOT have these.

Ok, got tired of hunting around for a replacement wiper blade so I modified an off the shelf assembly to fit my 280. plus the old assembly was looking ratty.

Exact fit 18-53 wiper assembly. Took out the plastic thingy in the middle and the old metal one fit right in. A washer on each side and for $6 I have a new wiper that I can actually buy blades for.

Who makes the wiper arm and blade combo? My wiper arms are also shot so I need the whole assembly of arm AND blade.

Used this thread (esp. TT's post) to snoop out replacement wipers for my 1997 290DA: ANCO 52-18. They are an exact match except that I will have to paint them black since they are stainless. Could not find them at a local truck supply store, so I ordered them online from directdepot.net for $41.77 including shipping. Beware that the ANCO 5218 may not be the same blade as the 52-18. At least the photos of the two on the various websites look different.

Anyone know what size blade was used on the 88 20BR Seville? My boat is missing the whole blade assembly. All I have is an empty arm.
