Does anyone know where to get a replacement pin for the engine hatch lift. Boat is a 2011 330/350 Sundancer. What is the part number of the pin?

Yeah, I would think any hardware store... Lowes, HD.
Most likely a standard size. Measure the length and diameter of the other one and go!

I think that they use a pin with a ring on the end like a canvas support pole pin only bigger so as to be able to remove them through an access hole when the eng. hatch actuators don't work for one reason or another.
Or, if you are replace an engine and need the hatch fully vertical or outta there. I am experienced.....

Can anyone have describe the distance/location of the pins? After four hours of labor and an hour myself, realized there are two… are they close in proximity?

Also, does anyone know if there are any washers or anything, or is it just the one piece (pin and ring).

Thanks in advance,
Greg

Hi all,

Can anyone please help with the measurements of the pins? I have a 2006 Sundancer 355 with twin lifters that I think are Lenco’s. I was in the engine bay on the weekend and realised there were no pins installed! Got out of there quick with no measurements. I’m in Perth Australia and taking a chance on ordering the right length and width pin. Really appreciate your advice. Thanks

Unless you plan on removing it often, I'd just get a shoulder bolt and nylock to hold you over until you can get the pull pin.

I am guessing they are sitting right there in the bilge. Don’t forget you should have a safety rod to hold the hatch up - but like 370 suggested, put something in there while you crawl around and look for the pins

I think it's just a regular trailer coupler safety pin. Maybe 1/4" diameter and about 3" long. Won't hurt if it's a bit longer than what's actually needed, of course.

As noted, though, just use anything you have to secure it - and/or the safety rod if you have it. Also as noted, look around in the bilge.

Mine look like this

Many thanks for the information! I will have a look around to see if they are around the bilge. Also thanks for answering the question I forgot to ask - safety rod. Doesn't appear to be one on the boat so I'll add it to the list of many things to sort out :)

You guys are awesome and thanks again.
