These are pics of the wood floor I installed last winter. Not sure if I had a chance to share. Love having the wood instead of carpet.

VERY nice. Yes, please tell us how you went about this.

This is the one thing that triggers me about larger boats in general. Why, oh why, would you put carpet on a boat? (I’m sure some people like it, but I would rather out a disposable throw rug down, if I need it to be soft under foot). I was looking at a new boat the other day online, and it had carpet in the salon! Granted, I’m sure there was an option to upgrade to hard flooring. Any larger boat I would buy will be upgraded to wood/something flooring, or we would just find one like these that have already been upgraded. The first thing we did to our 320 was to remove the carpet and replace with a laminate. Keep doing this, will give me more choices when I upgrade to a larger boat!

Beautiful. How does it hold up if wet?
My floor has been in for 3 years, Cflor I think is the company or product, but it’s been great as far as moisture is concerned. Just wipe it up, super easy. I never worry about getting completely dry coming out of the shower or coming in after a swim. A neighbor at the marina did his himself, but it took some time (he would spend about 1-2 hours a day, in the summer, sanding the subfloor to get it smooth). The people I hired ended up spending at least 2 weeks on mine. Fortunately, they only charged me what they quoted me.

How did you tackle the pulls to open the hatch to the ER? I only see what appears to be one piece of hardware. Also did you remove the hardwood from the kitchen and the dinette?

Bamboo is holding up fine!, second boat I have done with it, soaked and dried a sample many times before using, never changed. (think bamboo cutting board!)
Fabricated it out of sheets of 3/4" 3-ply bamboo plywood, finished with Bona Traffic wood floor finish. Yes, replaced the galley & dinette areas while I was at it. The engine room hatch area actually has 5 pcs approx. 14" x 60", lift out the center one by lifting the pull ring then the others slide toward the center & lift out. a bit of hassle to do but, only access the ER that way a couple time a year. Enter from the cockpit hatch for daily stuff. Top step was the tricky part, have to snap off the bamboo piece to lift the stairway to access washer / dryer and other items!

not sure if you were asking me or OP, but here goes...
Yes, I had the kitchen dinette hardwood removed, that was part of the issue in getting the subfloor level. The same pulls that were there originally were reinstalled. They are not recessed, but I have never tripped on them since they are really flush. You can see here how the pulls and the stairs were handled, and that you are sort of forced to keep the carpet that’s on the walls.
