Hi, I am trying to replace the TV in Salon but can't figure out how to remove current TV. Looks like it is attached to a wood box/holder behind opening as I can create about an inch of space between TV and cabinet but can't pull it out so a mystery how to get to the screws attaching. Thanks

Kross - it may be the same type "box" that I have behind mine. There are small screws in the side of the wood "box" that have to be removed...

Thanks, beautiful boat. I am pretty sure I can't access this side of the box as inset to built-in cabinet. Is your TV on the starboard side as soon as you walk in the salon with CD, Radio etc. I should have taken a picture

Kross,

Here's a file Sea Ray sent me - its for a 55 DB which is the same interior as the 58 DB.. Hope they are the same on your boat...

On the 06 44 DB the salon tv is attached to a hinged panel. On the sides of the entertainment center cabinet at the glass doors there are two screws top and bottom. The top screws are the fulcrum of the hinged assy. Remove the lower screw on each side and the tv will swing forward and you can see that the tv is screwed to the panel from the back.
Hope that helps

Mine was attached to a “black board” that has a screw in each corner. Remove the screws and the board comes out. It will be removed without getting to the back of it regardless.
