I have a 2001 310DA. Seems the sliding door panel above the stove & microwave is a real headache. (see pics). It has jammed twice in the past year due to items moving on the shelf. My most recent jam was impossible to clear to open the door. Got frustrated and broke the panel to clear the items. Now, I need to replace or repair the slider. I would like to eliminate the slider completely if possible and make some other type of cover of the space. I can't even see how to remove the old door.

I am SURE someone out there with a similar cabinet has had this problem also. Please let me know you thoughts and/or solutions.

To remove old door - use your fingers and feel screw heads under and above tracks ( I think there is 3 screws on each track). Just remove screws and remove old door. You can buy new material in any good wooden cabinets supply store, cut same size (or 1/8" narrower) and made new door. Original doors start jamming after they got wet and cardboard expands.
