Replace Neutral on 1990 Sundancer 350

Hello all, I am new to the forum and fairly new to boat with a larger boat. Besides the docking thing that I am still working through, my port engine will not start. It seems to be the neutral switch for the port motor that is the problem. Can someone point in the direction of some source that will help me understand what I need to do to repair this?
