The horn on my 07 52’ DB has died. I can hear a click sound when I press the switch on the dash but no sound. It was pretty wimpy sounding when it was working and would like to replace it with something more serious sounding. Any one ever do this and what brand/model did you use. Any help with the install would be appreciated also. Thanks!
I just took out and then took apart my horns. If you clean them and get rid of all the crud that is caked in there they will work perfectly. Take a look at my thread on this with pictures.
Is the compressor blowing? Wondering if the clicking sound is your compressor not coming on. Horns have been a constant frustration with me.
If you can’t repair and do need to replace, I replaced my single trumpet with a Kalenberg Dual trumpet D-0A and it sounds like a freight train (literally). It was an easy swap from the single trumpet. Below is a link to the one I bought. https://www.kahlenberg.com/yachting-model-d-0a.html

My compressor switch in the ER was turned off one spring and duplicated your scenario. Make sure that is on.
