In one of my less than stellar docking attempts, I managed to damage my corner dock wheel; it is no longer inflated and does not hold air. I am buying a replacement dock wheel but was wondering if anyone has had any success in repairing one of these in the past? I would like to repair it and keep it as a spare in case a future docking blunder results in another un-inflated dock wheel.

I did a search of the forums under fender, dock wheel and bumper repair (separately) and could not find anything on point. Your responses will be much appreciated.

Regards,
Alicia

P.S. Here is a picture of the one we have in case it helps:

Boy, I don't know. Those things are pretty tough. I wonder if a kit used to repair an inflatable (Zodiac style) would work?

Take a look at these before you spend any more money. In my humble opinion, these wheels are vastly superior to what you have.

I like that those are not filled with air. Their website didn't list prices and I hate calling companies just to "check a price". If you don't mind, how much did you pay for yours? Which model? How long have you had it? Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you think it is possible to use the wheel on my existing mount? It was a pain to get corner mount in its place initially.

No, I do not believe it will work on your current mount. Sorry. They are a much more robust mount. Take a walk around a marina. You will find them.

Alicia, is your current wheel made by Taylor? Their fenders are guaranteed for life - not sure about those wheels.
