I am thinking about buying a 2015 410 and having it ship but to do this I need to have the radar removed.
My question is, On a newer boat is there a plug or maybe a splicing block to separate the wires, if not can the wire be cut and soldered back together.
What is the best way to do this without removing the whole cable from the boat.

Don’t cut the cable. It can be disconnected at the pedestal or dome. The instructions are in the manual. It’s not difficult to do as long as you can get up there to do it.

Agree don't cut the wire. Some radars have a simple plug in cable and some require removing the dome cover and disconnecting the wires at a terminal strip. Make sure the power to the dome is shut off in either case. Don't forget the other antennas such as GPS and TV if they are on top of the arch.

And TAKE A PICTURE. Sometimes it's easier than relying on the manual when it's time to re-wire it.

Have whoever disassembles it label EVERYTHING they disconnect and YES, Have them take pictures before and after disassembly.
