If, and that's a big if, I can get the three Phillips screws out of the Garboard drain plug on this 88 300 DA, will it ever come out?
Is it most likely epoxied and sealed in there? Same scenario with the bronze thru hulls, although, I believe I have a better chance of removing them.
I was wanting to do a little gel coat repair and clean up the brass/bronze, before I apply the new bottom paint. Around all of the brass/bronze/stainless products that were in the salt water, the gel coat surrounding them have cracked and chipped. Most likely due to an impropper grounding solution?
My moto seems to be, "If it ain't Broke, Break it!"
