I use cold galvanizing zinc spray on my nibral props and I've got a little buildup. I'd like to take my props down to bare metal and start over. Can anyone suggest the best product/method for doing this? Ideally I'd like to possibly use a gel paint remover that I can just brush on but I don't even know if there is anything that would work.
I'd like to make it as simple as possible.

Thanks in advance

I tried paint remover from Home Depot, but it didn’t do much at all. The Acetone I used seemed to remove more that the stripper. Temps may have been an issue. I ended up using my Milwaukee die grinder with a scotch brite type pad to smooth it out and prep for paint. It would take some effort to get to bare metal. If you find a stripper that works, let us know.

Never did find a good way to remove the cold galvanizing spray off the props without a lot of manual labor. I just remove and send them out for reconditionining every few years and let the prop shop take care of them.

I went the grinder route with a paint remover disk. Not sure I would want to do it this way every year. Came off easy enough though. This year i'm just adding 1 coat of paint vs my normal 2. I'm ok if its gone by the end of our short season. Something else I just learned from a friend on thruster props is to apply a coat of wax and don't wipe it off. Let the haze sit. Giving this a try this year vs the paint which is also a pain to remove each year.
