So I have a fresh water leak (While on trailer) into the front berth. I assume it may be the port lights because sometimes I can see water drops dripping off of the lower port light sealing lever. I have read the posts on here about replacing them but the ones mentioned have 4 visible screws on the outside that allow access to the backs of the screws on the inside. I have the versions that do not have screws on the outside but only screws on the inside. I have removed the inside screws bit nothing seems to want to budge. I am reluctant to start pulling on things too hard. anyone have any experience removing these type of port light?
It is the stainless steel oval type with the removable screen.

Are you sure the water isn't leaking in between the rubber gasket seal and the portlight "glass"? Those three "sealing levers" have an adjustable set screw in them to be able to tighten the rubber/glass seal. Also, if you suspect it could be coming from there, the rubber should be cleaned and protected every so often to keep it soft. Worst case, replace the rubber. I would really double check where it is coming from, first. Use a hose.

What does the caulking look like on the outside of the portlight? You can tape over that caulking to double check if that's the issue.

It is coming in through the rubber gasket but feel it may be a bigger problem than just that. I had the boat parked outside for a month and it rained quite a bit. When I picked up the boat, there was about an inch of water in the low step area of the front part of the boat. Any idea where I can get replacement gaskets at a reasonable price?
