I get asked at least once a week if we have remanufactured Ray stuff. It only comes out once a year or so. We have a bunch of E120's coming. Plus super smoking deals on the domes. What exactly is a remanufactured Raymarine component? Have these failed, been replaced under warranty and have new boards or something else installed in them? Or, are they simply left over stock that retailers have returned to Raymarine?

I have never seen one that doesn't show up as new. Not sure what their origins are but I personally would buy these over new any day of the week. I have had a remanufactured E120 on my Seacraft for the last 2 years. All of your suggested scenarios sound plausible.
