Well after some time of being inactive, and some time of just reading threads, I thought it was time to reintroduce myself. At the time I went under the name of Beerman due to being in the beer industry. I think the last time I actively posted, I had just lost my job and had a daughter recovering from Leukemia. I was also enjoying my 2003 280DA Going CoconutsII.

Since then I have taken a job in the boating industry, had my daughter loose her Leukemia battle the second time at the age of 21 and 6 days after she passed I finalized my divorce.

I miss my daughter more than anything, but the boating industry has been the bright side of my life, and has allowed me to continue on. I don't take life for granted and enjoy every day. This spring I sold my 280DA and purchased a 2006 340DA. It has been a fantastic summer as I live on Midnight Blue during the summer.

This is still a fantastic place for knowledge and I am glad to be back. Take care.

Thinking of you and the trail back-look forward to hearing from you as it used to be-love your post-keep a good thought

Scott - welcome back. Sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter - I do recall the battle you all were fighting. The new boat is a great therapy! And getting to be working in the industry - even better!

Hope all continues to be positive.

Glad your are back-also from a Newbie. So far, my wife is winning her battle with cancer-3 years this past June cancer free! Getting our boat was actually her idea in the beginning and it has been a great experience. You are so right saying "don't take life for granted and enjoy everyday." A life changing experience like you have endured will certainly drive the thought home as we are not guaranteed tomorrow! Welcome back.

So, Boatman, errr Beerman, welcome back. You've had a tough couple of years but hopefully you can put some of that behind you and learn from your experience with your daughter that life definitely is short so live it!
