Can anyone tell me if there is a fuse for the refrigerator in the 340sda. I have a Waeco coolmatic RPD 0110. I was wondering if the was any external fuse besides the rocker switches on the panel.

Not sure about that brand but I did find a fuse on my fridge for the transformer. It was attached to the fridge wiring itself not in the boat wiring.

So I realize this isn't the most popular thread considering the amount that I've found in the archives. It seems to me the Waeco refridgerators that were placed in the Searay 340's (and I'm sure other models) from the early 2000 through a few years ago weren't the most popular. I'm not sure why but people have had troubles with them and have not been able to get help from experts. I still have my original refridgerator RPD-0110. It's a coolmatic made by Waeco. It stopped working completely on either 110V or 12V. Couldn't understand it so I went on a search of the archives. Came across the thread regarding the power supply. I bought the upgraded power supply (MPS-35 was the original and switched to the MPS-50) I thought this would solve the problem. Switched it on and once again........nothing. I'm thinking I'm pretty stupid at this point for spending the money on the new power supply thinking it must be the electronics in the Danfoss electronic module when I read the manual which states if you cross the tabs "T" and "C" on the electronic module you should see the compresser and fan start in a reduced "low" mode. This is supposed to tell you that the electronic module is fine. I did this and, sure enough, the compressor and fan start right up and the freezer portion starts to get immediately cold. To make a long story short I figured out (I think) the problem lies somewhere in the resistor unit that regulates the "coldness" of the fridge. That's the knob inside the fridge you turn to adjust the temp. When I took this out of the loop the fridge works fine. I really don't want to spend an extra 1K on a fridge at this point. Any ideas or someone I could speak with regarding the issue. I realize everyone thinks the Norcold is superior but I don't want to invest in a new fridge at this time..........
