I have had this A65 sitting on a shelf for a few years. I never really liked the layout the previous owner did. So I decided to go on the cheap and change the layout myself.
I cut the new holes and used the scrap to fill in other holes and used JB Weld to hold everything together ....it worked out very well.
I experimented with hydro coating...watched a million videos ...tried to dip switch plates for practice and came to the conclusion hydro coaters are some kind of supreme being... Tecnografic made the PO panels ...so called them and they said they could redip the panels no problem. They did a great job.

Looks great!

I had Tecnographics cut me a new one. I was out of places JBWeld would hold!

Sweet, looks awesome!

is your big mfd an e120? I’m trying to find a used A or e-series and while I was set on the a128 I’m opening up to the e120 as well, they’re also a bit easier to find on eBay. I had an a68 on our old boat and really liked it

It’s an e127...12” display touch screen. I couldn’t imagine you would need anything fancier... the resolution is great

Noticed the speakers overhead. How do you like the sound coming at you from the sides as well as overhead?
Well the speakers overhead are behind you while standing at the helm...same with the side speakers. The boat engines are loud at cruise... so having the speakers pointing at the people in the cockpit c lounge is good... I have 2 subs under the passenger seat... the whole stereo system is a little over the top :)

Awesome! I would be interested to know how the PTZ works out. I have one as part of my home system and now starting this year, it only Z's --- no P or T  Do you have cams in the bilge too?

Do you have cams in the bilge too?
No I don’t have any bilge cameras not high on my list of priorities. I do have another ptz camera down in the salon that just sits on the counter...same motion sensing. I don’t have cell or WiFi in the storage building so can’t test it out yet

Gotcha I see now you said security I was thinking more for when underway.

My OCD eyes approve. Balance and symmetry. Looks great

I have an e120 sitting on the shelf if you’re interested. Has cover, manuals and manual binder. Not sun faded at all.

Excellent work!
