Recommendations for a Surveyor in Suffolk County NY

I am looking for recommendations for a qualified marine surveyor to survey a 40'+ Sundancer in the Suffolk County area of New York. This is a pre-purchase survey, the buyer is out of state and we are looking for recommendations from someone who has used a surveyor in this area....not a list from the phone book or recommendations from Boat/US.....already have them both.

Frank - call Greg Michael 631-806-2628, Called Pinacle Marine Surveyors. If it has Cummins motors i would call WESCO Marine, 631-728-9202 Bill stephans. They are the local Cummins rep and if the boat has been on LI i am sure he has the service history.

I can recommend Paul Pellegrio, ISLAND-WIDE MARITIME SERVICES, Nesconset, NY, (516) 729-6832, pmp409 (at) optonline .net. He did the boat survey for me when I bought my 420DB. He served me well.

Dennis Koldner did the engine survey. He's a cummins specialist. He served me well also. dfklodner (at) aol.com.

The boat was in Port Washington, NY so they're both local to you, I should think.
