Re-upholster 1996 330

We have noticed our curtains and upholstery are becoming more stained over time and more difficult to clean. any general info would be appreciated from folks who have a) done their ownr e-upholstery and b) paid to have it done ie: how much? thanks.

My wife and I just re-did our bolsters in the v-berth. took them home, went to a fabric store which had a section of sunbrella and other fabrics designed for "outdoor" use. The fabric was expensive, but you use only a few yards so was maybe 100.00. We also bought new foam and glue there. Pretty easy job, just make sure you use 3/8" MONEL staples (available from home depot). Do not use regular staples. Our curtains we also took home and cleaned them so they look like new, but they would be easy to sew new ones out of they same materiel.
