RE POWER

I have a 96 Sea Ray Sundancer 250 DA with a gen 6 454 carb. Bravo one drive. The engine is no good. I have access to a 2001 Mercruiser 5.7 MPI engine. This engine is plug and play. Can anyone tell me what is involved in this change over? What will be the biggest issue? I was told it is a direct replacement. May have to change the steering rack due to the line fittings being different.
