I received a PM this afternoon from a member called "James." In it, he extols the virtures of Buddhism.

First of all, I never heard of "James." Second, I don't believe the CSR Forum/PM service is an appropriate venue for what I feel is SPAM.

Has anyone else received a similiar message? If so, it might be a good idea to contact the Moderator of the CSR Forum and he can put a stop to these types of messages.

Moderators: I originally posted this earlier today in the "New Server Bug" forum, but felt afterwards, this would be the most approprite forum for this topic. I was unsuccessful in deleting the original thread as a deletion was not offered as part of the editing process

Everybody saw your first post and your 2nd post. While we can't possibly eliminate all spam we can make an effort to not make a big deal out if it. Just use the delete button if you get one next time and simply send a PM or email to me or a moderator to let me know. What is annoying and possibly the intention of spammers is the chaos that comes after a spam message when everybody starts going nuts and making multiple postings like this. So now instead of just you and a few dozen other members getting zapped by this guy now everybody is having to deal with the aftermath. So with your help the spammer has now been able to bother all 3000 members twice.

Reminder to everybody, when you see spam just use the "report post" button. Don't reply to it, or quote it, or start new threads about it. We know its there and huge efforts are made to control it. I have never counted the actual times per day that spam regiostrations and messages are blocked but it is something like 60 times / day.
