RC Boat (48 Sundancer)

I am looking for a RC boat and found a 48 Sundancer RC boat by New Bright. Does anyone own this RC boat? If not can someone recommend a RC boat? I would prefer battery operated to keep the noise down. Something to cruise around the boat while on the hook.

I received one of those as a gift a few years ago. Looks to be the same one, but mine runs on a huge pile of AA's. Too cheesy, and too expensive to operate to be anything but a desk ornament. It makes for a great desk ornament though.

The battery pack is a good sign, but mine, with a single-screw is reallllly slow.

I have a pair of twin-motor high-performance RC boats that are a lot more fun, but they cost more than 10x what that one does.

Couple hours, but I always hook it up to my inverter or shore power to keep it charged.

There are two versions of this boat by New Bright. The 16" or so version and the 26" version. I have 3 of the smaller ones. For $25 and how cool they were I couldn't help but buy all 3 colors. I have a white, tan and one that I painted blue. I have pics that I'll have to repost tomorrow from work. They aren't that fast but ya gott think "scale speed"!
