Greetings,
Would anyone like to venture a guess as to why my 'SPEED' databox is blank but my 'SOG' indicates an appropriate speed?
It's a 'new to me' boat so this could quite easily be operator error

Thanks in advance!

Speaking from memory, SOG comes from GPS data and is Speed Over Ground, and SPEED is the speed of the water passing over the hull. SPEED would come from a source such as a paddlewheel, and I think some depth transducers also can have this feature. If you have the speed transducer and nothing shows up then there is a connectivity issue. Keep in mind you can have open data boxes even if there is no data source to support them.

Thanks Henry - That would explain it!
