Does anyone know how to change the speed units from knots to MPH? I've looked through the entire manual and have found nothing. The manual does show that the screen has a display for MPH but has no instructions on how to activate it.

Do u have a tri data display? If so im pretty sure the auto pilot gets the spees reading from that. You have to change the setting on the tri data unit. I could be wrong but im pretty sure. The speed from the wheel under the boat is not very accurate use a gps.

I have the old Raypilot hooked up to my new Raymarine e series MFD. I'll see if messing with that does anything.

I believe speed units is a system setting and all displays will show units as set on the MFD. On my E120 it's controlled by menu System Setting...Units Setup...Speed Units.

Other than yor knots to mph issue how does the old school pilot system seem to work with the new e series? Can u set your coordinates and have you auto pilot navigate the legs of the trip?

Yes it works great. That was the only piece of old equipment I kept when updating everything. I was told the 650 is still a good unit so I didn't replace it and it works great with the MFD.
